Meghan Markle Reveals She Had Medical Complications After Giving Birth

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has said she suffered medical complications after giving birth and had to deal with the "world" not knowing about them.

The British news agency PA Media reported that Meghan revealed in the first episode of her podcast, "Confessions of a Female Founder," that she was diagnosed with postpartum preeclampsia after the birth of one of her children.

Meghan described the condition as "very rare and very scary."

"I kept trying to do all these things, and the world didn't know what was going on, just quietly trying to be in public," Meghan said.

"I kept trying to hold myself together, mostly for the sake of my children. But these things carry serious medical concerns."
