Tel Aviv Discusses Situation with Washington
While the world holds its breath in anticipation of the Israeli response to the Iranian missile attack earlier this month, and amidst the exchange of threats between Tehran and Tel Aviv, a new Israeli official has revealed.
The official announced that the response to Iran is under discussion with America, according to the Washington Post.

He added that the government's vote on the response could take place at any time, adding that the voting process does not require a meeting, and could be done over the phone.
This comes after Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reiterated that his country would respond more strongly.
He said that "Iran will respond more strongly to any Israeli action." He added in an interview with the Italian channel Tg3: "Every action has a reaction, this is the law of physics."

He also stressed that his country "does not fear war, but it does not want it either."
In addition, he expressed his hope that Europe would play a more active role in stopping tensions in the region. "The Europeans say we don't have enough tools, but I don't think so," he said.
Araghchi, like other senior Iranian officials, had previously confirmed in recent days that the Iranian response to any Israeli attack would be more severe than the October 1 attack.
While many Israeli officials have made it clear that Tel Aviv will prepare a strong and surprising response.
Some Israeli sources have also hinted at the possibility that the strikes could include oil and power stations, as well as nuclear facilities, despite Washington's opposition.
Some expectations have gone further, speaking of the possibility of striking the Iranian presidential complex and the complex of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, as well as the headquarters of the Revolutionary Guards in Tehran, according to Israel's Channel 12.
In contrast, Tehran has threatened a stronger response than the October 1 attack. Last Sunday, a channel affiliated with the Quds Force, which is part of the Revolutionary Guards, published a map of sensitive Israeli locations that Iran might target if Israel responded, showing a number of oil points and gas fields that have been placed within the range of Iranian forces.
