A bank of targets that Israel plans to bomb in Iran
Among them is Khamenei's complex..
Despite the ongoing discussions within Israel about the extent of the response to the Iranian missile attack, and the targets that it could include, some sources have indicated several possibilities.
After several Israeli officials revealed in the past few days that all possibilities are on the table, including striking Iranian nuclear facilities, or even oil stations, despite American warnings, new targets have leaked.
A bank of targets in Iran
As Israeli sources hinted at the possibility that the bank of targets may include important economic systems inside Iran, such as oil and gas facilities.
The expected Israeli strike could also target the Iranian presidential complex and the complex of the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, in addition to the headquarters of the Revolutionary Guards in Tehran, according to what Channel 12 Israel reported today, Sunday.
Coordination with the United States
However, these targets represent some of the options on the table of decision-makers in Israel, according to what the sources confirmed.
Especially since Tel Aviv prefers to coordinate with the United States before acting forcefully, especially since the consequences of the Israeli response are expected to be dire and require American cooperation.
American and Israeli officials have confirmed in recent days that the Israeli response is inevitable and strong, but they did not specify its details.
While one American official expected the response to come on October 7 (tomorrow, Monday), according to CNN.
Several American officials also explained that Tel Aviv did not provide any guarantees to Washington not to strike Iranian nuclear facilities, despite calls from US President Joe Biden.
Iran bombs Israel
It is noteworthy that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced that it had launched more than 180 missiles towards 3 Israeli military bases last Tuesday evening, confirming the success of its "mission".
However, Israel returned and announced that a few missiles hit two military bases, without causing significant damage, threatening a painful response.
At the same time, international fears have escalated that the region is sliding into a broader regional war.
