Israel: We Killed Hamas's Minister of Economy in Gaza
The Israeli army announced, on Monday, the killing of another prominent leader in the Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army said in a statement: "We killed Abdel Fattah al-Zari'i on Sunday," describing him as "Hamas' Minister of Economy."

The army explained that al-Zari'i was "a leader in the manufacturing department of the military wing of Hamas."
The Palestinian Shehab News Agency reported, on Sunday, that the Israeli army assassinated Engineer Abdel Fattah al-Zari'i, Undersecretary of the Ministry of National Economy in the Gaza Strip, after an Israeli airstrike targeted him in the center of the Strip.
The government media office in the Gaza Strip said that al-Zari'i was killed after being targeted by Israeli aircraft, as he and his mother were killed after their home in the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip was bombed. Al-Zari'i is the most prominent official in the Ministry of Economy in the Gaza Strip.
