Trump: I will not allow the spread of electric cars and we will stop immigration
Donald Trump announced on Thursday that he has accepted the Republican Party's nomination for the November elections.
Trump promised during a speech he gave on the last day of the party's convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, that he would be a president for all Americans, not for half of them.
He said: "We will achieve a great victory and a new era of prosperity will begin."
Assassination attempt
As for the assassination attempt he was subjected to during an election rally in Pennsylvania on July 13, Trump confirmed that "it was horrific."
He added that he knew immediately that it was serious and that he was being attacked, stressing that the bullet was very close and almost ended his life.
He then went on to say: "If I had not moved my head before the shooting, I would not be alive now," saying: "I almost would not be with you at this convention."
He explained that he raised his right hand after the shooting to reassure the crowd, noting that some attendees rushed because they thought he had died after the shooting.
He added that the Secret Service agents bravely defended him, stressing that despite the incident and seeing traces of blood, he felt safe because of the guard.
Rejection of the spread of electric cars
Former US President Donald Trump confirmed, during his statements that he was keen to repeat in more than one international forum, that he does not follow green policies and decisions of international conferences on climate, describing them as a "trick" that will achieve nothing but the elimination of many factories in the United States of America.
Trump stressed his rejection of the spread of electric cars in the American market due to their high prices, while the presence of traditional cars that run on fuel is suitable for the financial situation of US citizens due to their reasonable prices.
Trump addressed China, vowing to continue his economic battles with Beijing, in an attempt to attract many industries and products to the American market again.
Trump reviewed a chart describing the rates of illegal immigrants entering the United States during his presidency 8 years ago, adding that he will bring those rates back to life again.
Trump and the Immigrant Issue
Trump claimed that many presidents in third world countries are fighting crime in their countries by sending drug dealers, prisoners, hardened criminals, and the mentally ill to the United States.
Trump criticized the Biden era, claiming that it witnessed the entry of many criminals from Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia into the United States, promising that he will put an end to this matter, adding that his administration will only welcome legal immigrants.
The former US president claimed that all world leaders fear him, which is why his term did not witness major political and military unrest, and made a quick comparison between him and other US presidents, as he told the audience that Russia obtained Crimea during the term of former President Barack Obama, and during the term of current President Joe Biden, it completely invaded Ukraine, while during his term in office Russia did not obtain anything.
Trump recalled the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan, which occurred during the term of current President Joe Biden, and Trump described the US withdrawal from Kabul as "humiliating."
