Video: Giant crocodile in the Nile causes panic in Egypt
A giant crocodile caused panic among some residents of Luxor Governorate in Upper Egypt, after a crocodile appeared in the Nile in the Al-Kalh area of Esna city.
A video circulated by social media users revealed the appearance of a crocodile at one of the Nile docks, and after it was published on social media, warnings began to be issued to residents, especially those living near the Nile, and their children were prevented from swimming in the water.
Eyewitnesses in Luxor confirmed that the videos that were monitored showing a crocodile in the Nile waters caused panic and fear among residents, and many warnings were issued not to go down to the water during that period, to preserve the lives of citizens.

Eyewitnesses also confirmed the presence of committees from the Water Bodies Police investigating and being present at the location of the crocodile video to verify it.
On the other hand, a security source confirmed that the entire area where the video was taken and the surrounding areas were combed, and no crocodile has been detected so far.
