A couple was injured after jumping from the Gurmaghat Bridge in Rajasthan, India, into a 90-foot-deep gorge to escape an approaching train during a photoshoot on the railway tracks.
The couple were reportedly creating content for social media when they realized the train was approaching.
In a panic, they chose to jump off the bridge rather than get run over by the wheels of the train, and fell into the gorge, sustaining serious injuries.
According to eyewitnesses, the couple was so engrossed in their photoshoot that they did not notice the train approaching them until zero. The sudden realization of the situation they were in prompted them to make a frantic attempt to escape by jumping into the gorge.

They were immediately rushed to the nearest medical facility. Doctors said that although both the couple sustained serious injuries, the husband’s condition was critical.
