Messi posted a single word via the "story" feature on his Instagram account: "insolito", a Spanish word that means "strange" or "unnatural" in Arabic, accompanied by an emoji suggesting astonishment and surprise.

The match, in which the Moroccan team won, witnessed dramatic and exciting events and crowd riots on the field, which led to the suspension of the match that was held in the French city of Saint-Etienne.

Before the referee confirmed the validity of Argentina's second goal (2-2) in the 15th minute of stoppage time, about twenty Moroccan fans stormed the field, and bottles and cups were thrown, forcing the referee, who calculated 15 minutes of stoppage time, to ask the players to return to the locker rooms.

There was controversy about whether the match had ended or not, and the International Olympic Committee website indicated that it had been stopped.

After about two hours of stopping, the players of the two teams returned to the field, and the referee decided, after returning to the video assistant referee (VAR) technology, to cancel Argentina's second goal due to offside and ordered the remaining three minutes of the match to be completed without fans in attendance, as Morocco succeeded in maintaining its lead to achieve a historic victory over Argentina with a score of 2-1.
