The new government in Egypt is scheduled to take the constitutional oath tomorrow, Wednesday, at the headquarters of the presidency in Heliopolis, before Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

The comprehensive ministerial change will witness the merger of ministries and the creation of others within the framework of Sisi's directives to develop government policies to keep pace with the challenges facing the Egyptian state, and a large number of ministerial portfolios and governors.

Sources confirmed that national competencies from international expertise were brought in for some ministerial portfolios, and there are 20 ministers who will be changed.

Ambassador Badr Abdel Aati was chosen as Minister of Foreign Affairs, with the immigration portfolio being added to the ministry.

The ministerial change also includes the selection of Sherif El-Sherbiny as Minister of Housing, Ahmed Kojok as Minister of Finance, Sherif Farouk as Minister of Supply, Osama El-Azhari as Minister of Endowments, and Maya Morsi as Minister of Social Solidarity.

Madbouly assigned to form the government

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi assigned Dr. Mostafa Madbouly to form a new government, with distinguished competencies, experiences and capabilities, working to achieve a number of goals, most notably preserving the determinants of Egyptian national security in light of regional and international challenges.
