Specifications and price of Mbappe's new palace in Madrid

Kylian Mbappe spent a lot of money on a huge palace worth 9 million pounds, which was owned by the Welsh star Gareth Bale, and contains all the luxuries that a prominent football player might want.

Specifications and price of Mbappe's new palace in Madrid

The 25-year-old French national team captain bought the house located in the "La Finca" neighborhood - 13 kilometers from the center of Madrid - after signing for the white club, noting that the palace was put up for sale in June 2022, when Bale left Spain for America.

8 bedrooms

The luxurious palace consists of 8 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, several balconies, a cinema room, a swimming pool and a garage that can accommodate 6 cars.

Mbappe's new home contains a football field, a basketball court and a golf area, noting that Gareth Bale, the former Real Madrid player, loved golf. The house also contains a number of strong security measures, including cameras that use facial recognition technology, and an alarm system connected to the Spanish police.

Mbappe was staying in a £7.2m mansion overlooking the Eiffel Tower while playing for Paris Saint-Germain, and while he could have afforded a posh home in the heart of Madrid, he opted for something more private in the north of the Spanish capital.

£9m instead of £11m

Mbappe is not the only player to own a home in the prestigious La Finca neighbourhood, with Toni Kroos, Sergio Ramos, Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane also living in the area from time to time, while Mbappe's plot of land is 3,000 square metres.

Bale initially asked for £11m for the mansion, but it was eventually sold to Mbappe for £2m less.

Mbappe joined Real Madrid on a free transfer this summer after his contract with the French club expired, having scored 256 goals for the Ligue 1 champions.
