Video: Passenger bites flight attendant, tears his clothes and changes flight path in America
An angry girl bit a flight attendant and threatened passengers, causing a flight from Miami to New Jersey to be delayed.
In detail, a United Airlines flight was stopped in Orlando on Tuesday night due to an "aggressive passenger," the company confirmed to news agencies.
The incident occurred on board Flight 762 from Miami to Newark, New Jersey.
The angry passenger began screaming at others while crews tried to control her using plastic handcuffs.
While her wrists were being handcuffed, the woman bit a flight attendant on the shoulder, tearing fabric from his uniform.
As a result of this incident, the flight was delayed by about three and a half hours.
A woman's mid-flight meltdown led to her biting a chunk of fabric out of a flight attendant's shirt.

United Airlines said that police escorted the woman off the plane after landing in Orlando.
“Our flight attendants worked to deescalate the situation and protect other passengers,” a United Airlines spokesperson said. “After landing in Orlando, law enforcement met the aircraft and removed the passenger. We are grateful to our team for their professionalism and concern for the safety of our customers and fellow United employees.”
A spokesperson for the Orlando Police Department said the passenger was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
