Instagram is testing a feature that makes users scream

The world's most popular photo and video sharing platform, Instagram, is testing a new feature called "Ad Breaks" that cannot be skipped, which makes users scream to express their anger, as it will force them to stop browsing to watch the entire ad.

These ad breaks are a type of unskippable ads, as they interrupt users' browsing experience, forcing them to watch an ad for a period of 3 to 5 seconds before they can continue scrolling and viewing posts.
The user can only skip the ad after watching it in full, as clicking on the information button displays the following message: "You are watching an ad break."
Users on the X platform expressed their dissatisfaction with this step that the platform will take, as one user wrote: "I think it is a notification to exit my account."
A user named Pamela Morales said: "Unskippable ad breaks on Instagram make me want to scream!", according to the British website "Metro".
Meta relies heavily on advertising to keep its free services running and generating revenue, as advertising is an essential part of the company’s business model and its various platforms, and it accurately targets users based on their interests and activity on those platforms.
Instagram faces a dilemma between increasing revenue and maintaining user satisfaction. Although the platform has succeeded in seamlessly integrating ads into the user experience, the new “ad breaks” feature may lead to a decline in the user experience and push it towards other platforms.
