WHO warns of deadly slimming injections
The World Health Organization has issued an urgent warning to citizens of several countries to avoid fake "slimming" injections that have recently been discovered, which may be fatal.
According to the British newspaper "The Times", the World Health Organization has discovered fake injections in several countries, most notably the United Kingdom, the United States and Brazil.
It added: "These injections are provided in the regulated supply chain, which means that they have been provided by legitimate clinics or doctors and can affect people."
It stressed that these fake products contain harmful or undeclared ingredients, which puts the lives of their users at risk.
The World Health Organization called on regulatory authorities to "exercise care" regarding batches of "Ozempic" injections and other weight loss injections.
