America is considering dismantling its floating dock off Gaza.. Why?

In what is considered the second time, the American news network "CNN" quoted American officials as saying that the American army is considering dismantling the floating dock off Gaza temporarily again due to the severity of the waves.

The officials explained that the floating dock will then be transferred to Israel, and they also indicated that this step comes due to fears that the floating dock may be damaged again due to the severity of the waves.

The network quoted a large number of officials as saying that the sea conditions in the eastern Mediterranean will worsen as fall and winter approach, and questions began to be raised about the ability of the controversial floating dock to withstand.

Restoring the floating dock

This will be the second time in weeks that the dock and bridge system, known as the Joint Logistics Services, has been restored on the Gaza coast.

Meanwhile, the World Food Program's aid distribution operations on the dock have been suspended for several days.

Last Friday, the American army restored the floating dock designated for bringing aid to the Gaza coast, after its structure was damaged by a storm and repaired in a nearby Israeli port.
