Brother of missing Saudi citizen in Egypt reveals his fate
New details in the case of the Saudi citizen who has been missing in Cairo for days, and his whereabouts have not been determined yet, to reveal today a new chapter in his disappearance
Hani Shata, brother of Hattan Shata, the missing Saudi citizen in Cairo, said that his brother's body was found dead. A statement by the Egyptian Ministry of Interior confirmed that the search efforts for the missing person resulted in finding his body, and investigations and medical examinations indicated that there was no criminal suspicion as a result of his death.
The statement explained that Hattan's death came as a result of the repercussions of his health conditions, and at the same time legal measures were taken, and the brother of the deceased and the Saudi embassy were also informed of all the details, according to a statement by the Egyptian security authorities.
Fate of Saudi citizen missing in Egypt
The Egyptian authorities had previously announced that the body was found in one of the streets, and it was examined, and it was later found that the death was natural without any criminal suspicion.
Egyptian Interior Ministry efforts
In the context of the same details about the recent incident, the same sources stated that the Saudi citizen Hattan Shata left his apartment in the Rehab area east of Cairo, leaving all his belongings and contact with him was lost, while the Egyptian security services issued a circular with the citizen's data and photo and sent it to all governorates and security directorates to search for him.
The authorities searched for Hattan in the cities near the compound area, as well as in the 6th of October and Sheikh Zayed areas, and asked Egyptian citizens to contact the police number if they find him. It is worth noting that Hattan Shata is married and has a daughter, and he recently went to Egypt to study and develop his expertise in his field of work in training consulting.
