International warnings against traveling to Lebanon.. Fears of a comprehensive war between Hezbollah and Israel

With the escalation between Israel and Hezbollah continuing, the US embassy in Beirut warned its citizens against traveling to Lebanon.

Before that, Russia recommended, today, Thursday, its citizens again to refrain from traveling to Lebanon until the situation in the south of the country calms down.

Fears of a comprehensive war between Hezbollah and Israel

Lebanese news websites reported that the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged the Dutch to leave Lebanon due to the risk of escalation on the border with Israel.

Recently, several European and regional countries announced their intention to evacuate their citizens from Lebanon due to the conditions that threaten to escalate the confrontations between Israel and Hezbollah that have been ongoing for months.

Last Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in North Macedonia issued the first call from a European country to its citizens to leave Lebanon, against the backdrop of the same escalation.

Canada also urged its citizens in Lebanon to leave the country "as long as they are able to," warning of the risk of escalating violence between Israel and the Lebanese Hezbollah against the backdrop of the war in Gaza.

In recent weeks, tensions between Hezbollah and Israel have escalated, raising fears of a full-scale war.
