Bellingham and Kane lead England to the last eight of Euro 2024
The English national team avoided a major shock, which is a "humiliating" exit from the European Championship at the hands of Slovakia, in the last moments of the match, on Sunday evening.
The Slovak national team presented an "epic football" in the round of 16 match of the "Euro 2024" Championship, in the German city of Gelsenkirchen against England, and led 1-0 over the English national team until the 95th minute, and was 60 seconds away from reaching the quarter-finals, but the situation turned upside down in moments.
England were "disastrous" in both halves of the match, continuing their poor performance at Euro 2024.
Slovakia took the lead through top scorer Ivan Schranz in the 25th minute, while the Lions failed to respond with any serious attack, even Declan Rice's shot that hit the post in the 81st minute.
But a magical moment from star Jude Bellingham saved England from a humiliating exit, as he scored a goal from a scissors kick in the fifth minute of stoppage time.
In extra time, England quickly took the lead moments after the start through top scorer Harry Kane, who confirmed the "Three Lions'" superiority over the brave Slovakia team.
The England team will face its Swiss counterpart in the quarter-finals next Saturday evening.
