Liverpool threatens Mohamed Salah
The British newspaper "Mirror" revealed that Liverpool will put Mohamed Salah up for sale if he does not agree to extend his contract with the club, and will not allow him to leave for free in the summer of 2025.
Salah only has one year left on his contract with the English club.
"Mirror" indicated that Liverpool's negotiations with Salah will determine the club's moves in the current summer transfers, and added: Salah's future is the main task facing Liverpool, and if the problem of the Egyptian international is not resolved by August, Liverpool will consider selling the 32-year-old winger to avoid his departure for free at the end of next season.
The report stressed that Liverpool is looking to resolve Salah's future as soon as possible so that it can enter the transfer market if the Egyptian does not continue, in search of an alternative.
Salah ended last season as the team's top scorer with 25 goals, in addition to making 13 assists in all competitions, and won the club's Player of the Season award for the fourth time since joining in the summer of 2017 from Roma.
