Tik Tok adopts new changes |
It seems that Tik Tok will remain a favorite among many users due to the new changes that will reward specific content differently on the platform.
The platform has introduced new changes, where all creators currently registered in the Creator Fund can upgrade to the creativity program that focuses on longer content.
But why is your favorite TikTok video getting longer? What changes has the platform introduced?
Remove creator box
The reason behind the gradual increase in the length of the clips is the removal of the creator fund starting Saturday, December 16, 2023.
The Creator Box will be replaced in the beta version with the Creativity Program, which app managers say will give creators a better chance of earning a higher income from creating videos.
However, this will only apply to clips longer than one minute.
The pilot version of the Creativity Program will allow creators to earn up to 20 times the amount previously provided by the Creator Fund.
And for anyone who thinks that they will be able to make a large amount of money instantly if they upload videos longer than one minute, this is not the case.
terms of use
The beta version of the TikTok Creativity Program will only be open to users who have an account in the United States and are 18 years of age or older.
They must also have at least 10,000 followers, as well as at least 100,000 video views in the last 30 days.
To join the Creativity Program beta if you're already part of the Creator Box, open the TikTok app and tap Profile.
Then press the Menu button (☰), then Settings. Click on Creator Tools, then Creator Box. Click "Switch" at the bottom of the page.
